- 사각지대 감지 시스템(BSD, Blind Spot Detection) :
경고기능을 가진 레이다는 후방사각지대에 있는
다른 차량을 감지해 운전자에게 경고를 한다. 운전자를 경고하기 위해
사이드미러에 그 경고표시를 표기한다.
- 차선 변경 보조 시스템(LCA, Lane Change Assistant System) :
차선 변경 보조 시스템은 양쪽에 있는 후방 사각지대를 항상 감지하고 있다.
만일 운전자가 갑자기 후방으로 접근하는 외부 차량을 알지 못하고 차선을
변경 할 때에 이 시스템은 운전자가 인지할 수 있는 방법
(촉각, 시각, 청각)으로 경고를 한다.
- 후방 사전 충돌 감지 시스템(RPC, Rear Pre Crash System) :
만일 레이다가 후방에서 갑자기 가속하면서 접근하는 차량을 감지하면 발생할
수 있는 사항들을 계산하고 감시한다.
- 레이더(24GHz Radar) : 차량 측 후방 영역을 탐지하여 상대 차량의 위치와
속도를 인식한다.
